Verse of the day

He that saith he is in the light and hateth his brother, is in the darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.

Condolence Message on the Pahalgam Terrorist Attack

The Arunachal Baptist Church Council expresses profound sorrow and grief in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which tragically resulted in the loss of innocent lives and left many others injured.

In this moment of deep anguish, our thoughts and prayers are with the families mourning their loved ones and all those impacted by this act of violence. We are particularly saddened by the untimely death of Corporal Tage Hailang, a courageous son of Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, who was taken from us while visiting Pahalgam with his newlywed wife. His life, filled with potential and commitment, was abruptly ended, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and the Ziro community. We stand in solidarity with them, offering our prayers and support during this difficult time.

We unequivocally condemn this atrocious act and reaffirm our dedication to promoting peace, justice, and the sanctity of human life. May the Lord provide solace to those in mourning, healing the injured, and eternal rest to those who have departed.

As it is written, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18.
